A Parent's 2-Minute Screening
A quick screening checklist for children ages 3-12. Check the signs you notice in your child and the result totals automatically, a simple way to see whether an airway-focused assessment is worth a conversation.
Many parents assume that snoring, mouth breathing, crowded teeth, or restless sleep are simply “normal childhood phases.” They may not be, a child’s breathing and sleep can shape facial growth, jaw development, dental crowding, behaviour, and energy.
Check any statement that applies to your child over recent months. This checklist is not a diagnosis, it’s a simple way to recognize signs worth discussing with an airway-focused dental or orthodontic provider.
The more signs that apply, the more an airway and growth-focused screening may help. Several mild signs together can be meaningful.
This resource is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If your child has witnessed pauses in breathing during sleep, please speak with your physician. To understand your child’s growth and airway development, book an airway-focused consultation and we’ll look at the whole picture together.
